Press release - Changes to the published 2020 UT Selection Policy (UNIVERSAL TRENCH)

Changes to the 2020 UT Selection Policy for the 2020 ECH and WCH

At the BICTSF board meeting on the 15/10/19 the Board made the following changes to the published 2020 UT Selection Policy for those wanting to try for the 2020 ECH and WCH teams.

Changes can be found on the '2020 UT Selection Policy' which is on the blue button link on the UT page.

Essentially, they are…

1. Selection for the 2020 ECH - The team will be chosen using 3 from 6 shoots to count. (3 named from 2019 and 3 named from 2020).  It was thought that this would allow shooters new to UT a chance to put in the required 3 scores needed for a team place.

2. Selection for the 2020 WCH - The team will be chosen using 3 from 5 shoots to count. (1 named from 2019 and 4 named from 2020).

The 2020 Shooter of the Year Final in August will be one of the ones to count for the ECH in 2021. More info for 2021 shoots to count will appear on the BICTSF website at the end of the 2020 selection policy as 'Updates',  as soon as they are known, so please keep watching the official updates on the BICTSF website.
